Medicare provides a rebate of $131.65 (for clinical psychologists) to clients who are referred by their GP, a psychiatrist or a paediatrician. A GP Mental Health Care Plan or a referral letter from your psychiatrist or paediatrician will be required to claim the rebate. You are entitled to 6 initial sessions plus 4 additional ones (10 in total) each calendar year from Medicare.
Please note that not all private health funds cover clinical psychological services. You are encouraged to check with your private health fund to seek advice from your health fund.
Victim Services NSW/QLD Psychological services provided through Victims Services are fully funded and do not require payment of a fee by the client.
Registered provider of the NDIS. Services are fully funded and do not require payment of a fee by the client.
Reports and school consultations can be provided on a fee for service basis. Medicare rebates do not apply to these services.
The fees vary depending on the type of consultation or service provided. Standard consultations are $185. We accept cash, eftpos or credit card. Direct deposit will also be accepted where prior arrangements have been made. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged if you fail to cancel your appointment with 24 hours notice or fail to attend your scheduled appointment.
